Yes! The weekend is finally here! I am so happy! And even though each week is going by slow, it seems insane that we are already in our 4th week O3o... Ugh I have so much homework to do! Luckily, English doesn't bombard me with homework and the only homework i have in History is optional notes from textbook (which I do cause I want to maintain my high grade in there XD), only french likes to bombard me with 2 packets, 1 bookwork, and vocab study as well as online work orz;;; all this is due like one week after it was assigned. But, believe it or not, this is not what I am going to complain about XDD (too late though?)
Ok the real complain I want to mention is in Japanese Club. I love this club and one of my good friends is President and I have so much fun. I wanted to get an important role in the club because it looks good on college applications, but anyway! Ok so I decided to run for Secretary, now I was super excited about this, I saved a notebook to use and I was already planning on how to organize stuff on my computer. But i was running againest another person (who was secr. last year). Ok normally, I wouldn't really care if they won if they really seemed interested, but ok, when I had to give an intro, I made a speech saying my name and why I truly wanted to do this and why I should do this (I am really organized). While he, on the other hand, just said "I am ____ and if i can't do it, no one can". Of course everyone laughed (wasn't that original). He won and I heard from the pres. that I was only off by 2 votes and she tried to ask the VP if he would vote for me (he didn't) and I didn't get the position. Honestly, I wouldn't care if he won if he gave a purposeful speech and not just lame shit, if you are really committed you should present yourself as such, so if he did show that, I wouldn't care. He won cause of popularity. But i better get used to this, because in this country, that is how everyone votes.
Long rant over, sorry for grammar mistakes and stuff, I needed to vent.
Luckily, the pres. said I can be basically with the officers, so I will try to mingle myself in. and i get to do art commissions (details later if interested).
