tiger sweater, glitter, and overalls...
what do you get when you add greg in a tiger sweater plus the south 11th street girls on a not so eventful looking evening? eighties dance party! fully equipped with the most stylish costumes and make up. ok ok, so it was really all just a surprise for aaron, chris, mike and sarah, but it ended up being more like a really good time. no lights, except candles, greg's eighties mix cd which included more than one cure song, and plenty of other classics, nikki reminising on her raver days, lauren as an elderly farm hand, and me in what apparently came off as a "B-52" outfit. good freaking times.
later, i cut mike and sarah's hair...which felt really good, since i haven't done any of that in a long time.
a bunch of kids slept over, then left for the mewithoutyou show in DC this morning. once again cutting their lives into pieces.
not sure what i'm up to today. today felt wierd from the moment i woke up, and i think this feeling is called 'missing'. some days are better than others, and today just happens to be a rough one. but art projects and a movie with lauren tonight should snap me out of it.
oh...and i think i failed to mention...i got a ticket to see bright eyes! yeah!! they're playing out here on april 28, and i would rather die than miss it.
don't forget you've got a girl in philly who loves you...
