well, I suppose I'll go on and give my definition.
To me a Christian is some one who loves God with all his heart mind soul and strength, and who loves his neighbor as himself. And that doesn't mean just saying you love your neighbor. It means taking care of the poor- the oppressed. Jesus said he came to heal the sick people of the world, and we're His Body, now that He's gone. Its our job to continue that work. He once said "the poor will be with you always." Now, alot of people think of that just meaning there will always be poor people in the world. But I take it as, we as Christians should always surround ourselves with those people. God sees that the Spearows and other animals have what they need, and He does the same for us. the difference is, God gives to some more "richly." That doesn't mean God loves those people any more than He loves the poor. He gives in that way, that we may be transformed, learning to share with one another. The early Church used to pool all their money together, thus providing for everyone. If we as Christians would start sharing and truly loving one another like we love ourselves, then we would all have what we need in this life.
anyway. I'm about to post another question for everyone. :) God Bless.
