& exciting things in the basement! No, this is not a bdsm filter. I have gotten up and running my father's newest addition to our collection of rock equipment - an automatic drill press. It's slower, but it means that I can be doing things like this, while it *grind pause grind pause grind pause* through this lovely slab of obsidian - I'm using a core-borer, 3/8". I said I'd make some things for the really strange happenings before our chorus concert, and I thought that I'd better get started, and that this might help a lot. I'll probably sit out here during the first level, just to see how the sound changes (the press only moves a small amount, of course, so I'll need to keep resetting the height of the table - which could be rather annoying). I'll add to this as new information becomes available.
