Blame it on the Tetons

Imagine this:

Climbing uphill on a mountain for 5 miles, exhausted and worn out, all of sudden you turn a corner, and see a beautiful crystal clear blue lake, surrounded by mountains, with huge boulders, leading into a stream that you cross by hopping on rocks. It's Amphitheater Lake. The water looks as though it may be the home of mermaids, or perhaps some strange and beautiful kind of sea monster. And though the weather is warm, there are random piles of snow around you. Above you a cloud is swirling strangely in a circular pattern. You climb a little higher, and are looking down a 1000 foot cliff, and across to mountains lined with snow and huge piles of dirt that were actually moved by glaciers. A little higher yet, you're almost 10,000 feet up in the air now,and you're looking across the great valley (not of Land before time :P) but of Jackson hole, and across to mountains, up at the white clouds, and down to a lake the most stunning shade of turquise. The stuff of dreams? Yes..... :)

p.s. "Everyone's an ocean drowning, with no one really to show how, they might get a little better air, if they turn themselves into a cloud" Modest Mouse
