the journey begins.
Day 1:
The Pied Pipers (childrens singing group that i'm in) and the Faulkner chourus are going on their first ever joint tour across the country...well not across the whole country, but part of it atleast. We're taking a bus from Montgomery, AL all the way to New York City. I'm really excited about this because I never get to travel and this will be a great oppourtunity to do it for free.
Day 2: Fayetteville
Yesterday was a pretty fun day. I slept most of the trip while others were watching the "Hobbit" on dvd. We finally stopped in a place called Fayetteville, GA. to do our first show. It was a little different doing an hour long show when we're used to doing shows that are 15-30 minutes long. It went pretty well, we ate speghetti before we went on. The kids seemed to really like us because a lot of them came up and gave us hugs afterwards. From there we went to stay with one of the families that watched the chourus it was fun, we watched "Oh brother where art thou" and I ate a ham sandwhich. We all had to get up at 6 am so we could get back on the road and head to virginia. We just passed through atlanta and i enjoyed the view and the grafitti while eating a delicious poptart. Now its time to go back to sleep.
