(no subject)
I really didn't expect for it to be snowing this morning...
Since my professor is going to China this week, our finals are pretty interesting. The AR final was on Friday, and was only an hour long. She is normally very good about not putting anything on our tests that are not on our study guides. Despite this, about a quarter of the test was devoted to cochlear implants, which was not on our study guide, and the test was not supposed to be cumulative.
We have a take-home final in infants, which is due tomorrow.
The only real final we have is in clinical processes, which is also tomorrow.
And then I'm done! For the quarter anyway.
Oh yeah, and the golden compass sucked, just to let you know. The only people who seemed to enjoy it were the ones that had a vivid memory of the book. It was soooo disjointed. They introduced a new thing every 5 seconds for the first half of the movie. Kreg and I thought about walking out. Colleen loved it though, but she also seems to remember everything about the book. Personally, I don't think you should HAVE to read a book in order to be able to watch a movie of said book. Hell, I even read the book (and loved it), but that was back in 6th or 7th grade, and I almost got up and left. Anyhow, in my opinion: the CG was terrible, the acting was terrible (especially the kids), and it was really confusing and irritating for someone who did not read (or could not accurately remember) the book.
In other news...
Colleen and I made a candy land cake for Dr. P's super secret baby shower.
My parents bought a puppy. We were planning on going out there later today, but I don't want to get stranded out in SV . It started snowing the last time I made plans to go out to my parents'...hmm.
