Bye bye tonsils

It hasn't been quite as bad as I had thought, but that definitely doesn't mean that it's been good either.
Went in on Tuesday. Apparently I am very witty when I am nervous. Anyhow, I'm not pregnant. Good to know...
That'd suck: go in to have tonsils removed...find out you're pregnant instead (if you're a sexually active female they test your urine before surgery).
My whole body has been incredibly sore the last couple of days. The first two days I had to sleep sitting up, so I think that might have fucked me up a little.
The pain in my throat is tolerable. It's just like a bad sore throat at this point. Nothing I haven't dealt with before... Though, it has been moving into my ears, which is annoying.
The back of my throat is one big white blotch where my tonsils used to be. No matter how much I brush my teeth, the smell is enough to make me gag. Not to mention that there are a couple of stitches that I can feel back there, so most of the time it feels like something is stuck in the back of my throat. And then there's the pain meds... So, between those three things, I've been pretty much chronically nauseated. Not that I should be very surprised...I get nauseous really easily anyway.

Taking pictures of the inside of your mouth is hard...
But after about a dozen of them, I finally got one that worked. Some of them were more in focus around the tonsil area, but they looked really gross, so I'm showing a less detailed picture :)
