Have yet to get to the HP service center to get my laptop keyboard fixed, thankfully found the time to post using my little sister's iTouch, which is easier to type on than the on-screen keyboard. (Though the lack of cursor arrow and directional keys is still making this quite hard to get used to, as navigating Apple products always leaves me dumbfounded.)

Things that have happened since getting back from China:
- Watched my older brother get into AC: Brotherhood via its exciting multiplayer mode, and laughed at his obvious lack of experience with assassinations. After a brief break when the PS Network was apparently hacked, he's since bought himself his own PS3 and pestering us to play Call of Duty at, like, 1am just as he arrived in Makati from having just come from our house.
- Watched Thor, developed a surprise crush on Loki (I hardly even remember him from the comics) and is resisting the urge to look for slash fanfic.
- Rewatched Naruto episodes with Gaara in it, after having all our Naruto fansub eps consolidated in our PS3. Lost a lot of sleep (again).
- Went to Sagada for the third time, with friends. It's a tale best told in person, with just the right amount of horrified wonder required when recounting a near death experience. (Travel tip: Never travel at night during a storm for more than the normal 6 hours.)
- Caught up on my fanfic to-read backlog since last year, and as a result, craving for more Doctor/Master fic. If I can't shake the Internet so more Academy!fic or Scream of the Shalka!fic would fall out, it may be time for me to consider reading Classic Who fic. Which kind of makes it difficult to start catching up on the Eleventh Doctor's episodes if there's a warring impulse to check out all the Classic Who serials with The Master in them.

Writing LJ posts with your thumbs is tiring, so here's to hoping I'll actually get my laptop back on proper posting/browsing condition by next week!
