We recently celebrated our anniversary with dinner at a restaurant called Seasons 52. They are a local chain, with, I believe, 3 locations around the Orlando area. We've been there before and it's always been marvelous- I would highly recommend it if you're ever in the area.
I was surprised and delighted, when we received our check, to discover a business card tucked into the little slot in the folio where you would place your credit card. Seasons 52 provides its servers with business cards.
I have never before in my life seen a business card for a restaurant server. What a phenomenal morale booster, to acknowledge the talent and superb professionalism of their staff in this way. We got top-notch service (as we always do there), and as a scientist-practitioner of leadership and customer loyalty, I was monumentally impressed by this gesture by their management and what it represents and creates in their performance.
