The Summit
Last night I went to the East Coast Acappella Summit and it was seriously amazing. Like, I can barely wrap my mind around how amazing it was. There was a ridiculous amount of audience responce. Mouf (an Austrian group of two guys and a girl) made the entire theater vibrate, and during one of their songs practically the entire audience got up and danced.
Yeah. I had no idea acappella could be like THAT.
The other group that I thought was particularly awesome was vocaldente, a german/canadian group of five guys. Could not be more different than Mouf, but still amazing. We got their CD, and are planning on getting one of Mouf.
Today I went to the highschool competition, and - WHERE THE HELL WAS MARSHALL? Then again there were only, like, three schools (South Lakes, some Catholic school from Kentucky, and TJ) so I can't get too pissed.
YOU GUYS. There's another concert on Sunday (the 9th) so SERIOUSLY GO IF YOU CAN. It's at South Lakes High School at 2:00 PM and for fairfax county students tickets are 10 dollars (I think). But yah, if you can, GO. It is so worth it.
