Computer back in action - new plans
Well Have got computer back working thatnks to teadaemon and its was really good to see him and get a bit of his zen tranquillity as well
So Action Plan DRAFT done and delivered to reasonably good reception and now into new work and home plans
Went and visited Amy and had a great afternoon there - good food, good chat and nice to hear about her international jet setting (well Air India New York and Amsterdam travels )
Good present too to add to the shopping bags with inappropriate slogans collection.
Have had a strange week - played the 'enforcer' to get a young women's passport back from a really heavy group of extended family members - with great success - they thought I was a solicitor - never been mistaken for one of them before - the advantages of age !
Arranged to get rid of most of the large dark furniture that we inherited when we moved in here - but hasn't been collected yet so most of Sat & Sun had rooms full of books, CDs videos, photos etc - but seem to have found places for most of them
The place will be very big and empty when its gone - but hopefully this will make it more restful and when I get the gas fire in on March 10th it might also be warm !
Should be doing work now - think I'll write up a definitive list of funding sources for the vol sector - as this would have several uses today and next week
Have just got in from walk 'round the block' - part of new fitness through more walking campaign
Oh - almost forgot - also order two 'lots?' of fake dog poo from a joke shop on the Internet - I am doing a consultation with local school children and one of the things they had been complaining about most was dog mess and irresponsible owners - so I thought we would illustrate the display appropriately - should look well in my accounts - teaching materials no less!
