words

Have you ever heard something, that you just need to write down, its wisdom, or its words so striking that you fear you will lose their meaning and importance because all you remember-are not the words-but the feeling, the emotion it strikes within you, hitting on target like a hot iron rod.
"What walking contradictions we men are. We are skyscrapers made out of glass, spray painted steel, and nick named 'strength'".

Its wisdom so powerful that you cant believe you have not heard it before, something so important that you want to hold it with you for all time.
"I am the sacrificial lamb, find something worth dying for, and then live for it."

Some times its not the line, a paragraph, that hits you, sometimes, you don’t even know when it starts to effect you, and when its finally decided to let go, only to let you feel the after shock.
"This women standing in front of me, holding a picture of a girl, with my brown eyes. Asking If I have seen this face, 'have you seen my daughter/wife/cousin/sister/mother'. These women with their crying eyes, searching fox hole to fox hole, searching where the dead bodies lie. I wish I could answer, but when I do, the only answer I get is more tears from their dying eyes"

So that’s my random live journal, just felt like putting it in words so I don’t forget, forget the feeling, forget how words so simple, meant so much late at night.
