So today has been extraordinarly delightful. (Please note the sarcasm.) We obtained our earthly possessions today starting at about 10 am until almost 1. They carried in boxes and boxes and furniture. Amazing I think it might all fit

Update:
- We are almost unpacked, will be taking Chris back to Purdue on Thursday. In total I moved 6500 pounds, which means I have another condo full in storage (10,500). I will worry about that in 18 months.
- Jon and Sam are moved into the basement. Not sure how they did it but, they fit everything in. Sam's father went on a shopping spree at Bombay. I think the formal dining room (six chairs and China cabinet) was a little over the top. There is a lot of room down there if you are creative. Sam's mother has been here all day arranging things. It's full....and so is the storage barn.
- (Fatherly advice) don’t forget to file the damage claim ASAP. You will get a better/faster return if you file a claim against the mover. (Time sensitive, file within 14 days) Take digital pictures of the damage, you will need to add a date identifier in the picture, e.g. newspaper. Include the photos with your claim. The JAG will appreciate that, the money is collected from the mover not the AF.
- We went to Huerta's commissioning yesterday. The whole class is now official. He will join you at Vandenberg in October. Also, met the new Cadre at the Det. Col Bass asked me to send her regards. TSgt MacGyver said he tried to contact you during ASBC. He was at Maxwell for a class, but his schedule was too tight.
- You have mail that was not forwarded still arriving. Will forward a bag full this week.
