Ripples
As we go about our daily lives, we fail to see what happens around us. What ripples do we create and do the turn into a wave that destroys the sandcastle or are they gentle enough to send a small crab to his new home? What we say and do will affect the people around us one way or another and as such, what will it change in the time to come? If someone asked you about your trip to Nebraska because they were thinking about going and as just a side comment you said it was boring for you, would it cause the other person to doubt their trip their? Would it cause them to reconsider and thus travel to Tennessee instead? Would you even stop to think about it? Or would you go on, never wondering if that one insignificant comment may have deterred a friend from meeting a man or woman that would change their life into the fantasy world they lived in as a child? Everything we do and say, perhaps even think, will in a sense change the way our lives and the lives of others play out. Perhaps for the better, perhaps not. However, nothing that anyone else says or believes absolutely has to be what you believe. Stay strong to your convictions and be who you were meant to be.
