So I haven't updated in quite some time. I feel as though not only I, but quite a few people have neglected their livejournals as of late. Sure, you have a few regulars, but those that don't regularly do it, haven't in what seems to be ages. Is it perhaps a response to growing up? Perhaps Getting away from things we did as kids? Or perhaps everyone is so busy that it doesn't take as much precedence anymore. I cannot say I am not at fault either, far from it. And yet, I also believe I have plenty of time to throw down a 5 minute entry and update friends as to what is going on. However, that thought leads me to believe that I just don't have anything to update everyone on. This is true on a certain level and yet everyday is a new day and I could always write about that no matter how boring it may be. Perhaps we pick and choose entries based on what would be interesting to read in hopes that someone with respond to them instead of the mundane everyday lives that we live. We cannot be expected to live everyday as if it is our last only for health and safety reasons and at the same time we wish we could. Looking at the world as a child would and through the eyes of innocence and seeing everything in a new light. It would make the everyday things seem like something new and refreshing. Allow us to get out of the mundane and in turn write about it in way that makes the mundane seem like the most exciting thing you have ever done.
Sadly, that is not how it happens.
