Witches, Wizards, Werewolves, and Wankers
By Which I Mean: Canon Relationships!

MOONY (REMUS LUPIN):
Moony Moony Moonykins. One of the Marauders and thus a mate forever and ever amen till death does them part et cetera. Extremely close, bond deeper than words, a bro, a man to be trusted with nearly everything. Not exactly a James Potter but quite close. Completely trustworthy except for that bit where he transforms into a dangerous animal once a month. Ah, but that furry little problem isn't so bad for all that. A flatmate (of course!) and a best friend and everything therein. He disappeared. Or died. It doesn't matter which, but bloody someone will pay for it. Possibly Snape.

LILY EVANS:
The Love of James Potter's Pathetic and Disappointing Life. Generally disapproving. Somewhat of a wet blanket, but still charming and attractive and not quite so bad. Came to Canada after the end of their seventh year, a point where she and Sirius seem to be on better terms. A flatmate, because James would want her to be watched out for. Perhaps she'll do the cooking and tidying up (probably not). Gone. Dead. Something. Not sure what the hell is happening, but it isn't fair, and James would be-- disappointed is the first word that comes to mind, but that doesn't even come close to what James would feel about Lily going missing. Sirius feels dreadfully guilty as a result, and does his best to completely ignore the fact that he fucked up and let her be killed. It's more easy on some days than it is on others.

SNIVELLUS (SEVERUS SNAPE):
The worst. Hatred, forever. Et cetera. Might be gone? Dead, hopefully.

A Load of Muggles and Such
Or: Non-Canon Relationships!

Edgeworth:
Hilarious, deserving of some respect (very scant, manifested only occasionally and when it's really warranted, aka when there's no choice but to show said respect god dammit). Keen on school and reading, urrgh. Quite witty when the mood takes him. Interesting enough, would probably be friends with McGonagall; reminds slightly of an older and drier Remus with much, much less of a sense of humor (except for when it comes to puns). Organizing an effort against AGI, which Sirius has committed himself to. Was quite helpful during the missing Remus crisis, which was slightly surprising and yet very--comforting but not since that's a girl word. In sum: he genuinely likes this bloke, and these days, he's not even as edgy about admitting how much he likes him. Edgeworth has turned out to be a pretty good mate, despite his rigidity and strict adherence to the law in every regard. He's a brave person, and he always seems to have a plan.

At the end of November, Sirius participated in a plot to take down Yaha at Edgeworth's request. The plot ultimately failed, but Sirius still feels extremely amounts of loyalty to Edgeworth--in fact, maybe even moreloyalty, because Edgeworth did not give up even after his defeat. Edgeworth is definitely one of his favorite people, all things considered, and he trusts his word absolutely. If Edgeworth has a plan to do something and needs help, Sirius will, without a doubt, help.

Allen Walker:
A fellow of the most decent sort. From a backdated sort of time, so they share a similar bewilderment in the face of Muggle technology. A bit evasive and a bit mysterious but generally even tempered and cheerful. Works at a circus, ha ha. Good for an adventure (see: the Great Lake Investigation of 2010). Makes an effort to keep Sirius out of trouble but is a bit subtle about it. Is definitely a favorite person here! And, in that grand old tradition of Creating Replacements, Allen is closest to a Remus--quite different, of course, but that being the closest association therein. He remains a mystery, in that Sirius has come to realise that he knows very, very little about Allen, where Allen comes from, or what Allen is about. It's not that he's suspicious--he can tell that Allen is a Good Person--but he is a little confused.

Shijima Kurokano Miss Sunshine:
Ha ha what is with this girl. Extremely Odd, even measuring by wizarding world standards. Endless, endless fun to tease. Makes threats but hasn't followed through with one yet. Is a cat, definitely Doesn't like cat jokes. Hilarious. Has figured how to bait him (dares, et cetera) but is no less entertaining for it. She's also good for... cheering him up, in some strange way, and she's taken on more of a grandmotherly role to him. Still good for teasing, but affectionately.

Oh, wait, she died.

Azula:
Ha ha also what is with this girl, too? Seems occasionally on the outer limits of sanity. Pissed off almost always, doesn't really know how to take a joke--which of course only makes her all the more fun to tease. Easily provoked.

Jinx:
Hooray, another girl worth teasing. A bit more catty and will attempt to bite back. The "world's greatest sorceress" and a self-professed "bad guy". Seems to like trouble. Responds with more direct and physical violence, but no less fun to provoke. Frequents porn shops. Thinks she's been around the block.

Nara Shikamaru:
Assisted with the Furry Problem when Remus was still about. Has a shadow-controlling ability that reminds entirely too much of the Imperious Curse. Initially untrustworthy based upon this fact alone--at first. Now that there's been an in-person meeting, he rates a bit more trustable. Doesn't seem to be a bad sort. Also offered help during the Remus crisis, which was quite appreciated.

At the end of November, Sirius was involved in the Yaha plot with Shikamaru. They were arrested together, and shipped off to prison--and then Shikamaru joined AGI in order to guarantee the release of Sirius and Edgeworth. Sirius totally got the sacrifice aspect of that, but he still resented it slightly. He wasn't sure if he liked Shikamaru or not, but he thought that he was trustworthy, and he felt a sort of... obligation to him, at least.

But all that changed when Shikamaru took Jack and Sirius in while working for AGI. They were nearly sold off into slavery, and Shikamaru played the AGI part a little too convincingly. Even after they were released and learned the truth about his double-agent role, Sirius retained his hatred, as Shikamaru had (in Sirius' eyes) betrayed his friends. All of this culminated in an attack--only it was Sirius that attacked Shikamaru, with the intent of beating him up to prove the point of his own strength, to teach him a lesson, and to make himself feel better. It rather backfired, and instead led Shikamaru to turn on Edgeworth--which in turn gave Sirius more cause to hate him.

Shinjiro Aragaki:
Interesting and weird sort of fellow. Not bad for a conversation. Sarcastic, anyways, and will give as good as is given, which is always entertaining. Not close, by any means, but that's all right--it means he can be teased as well as liked. They seem to have very similar thought patterns.

Sam Merlotte:
Some sort of dog fellow. Mate of Edgeworth's--good mate, too, by all accounts. Owns a bar, which is extremely useful information. He turns into all sorts of animals which, from an "academic" (harr harr) perspective is really interesting. Someone to be watched, maybe, just out of interest. Maybe a bro dog? Dislikes werewolves, so points lost for that, but otherwise he seems quite all right. Sirius' current boss at Merlotte's.

Jubilee:
Fireworks hands. Some sort of mutated something thinger back in her world. Seems relatively normal. Likes beer.

Kunogi Himawari :
Seems sweet enough. Owns a dog. Can take a bit of teasing, but seems too nice to really strike back--that's not a bad thing, just means she might not get as much as others would. Even-tempered. Learned a bit about her "bad luck" thing during the Remus crisis, and sort of... talked around the idea of investigating the Core. Sirius has actually come to genuinely like Himawari, the same way you'd care about a sweet kid sister or something. She's the nicest girl that he's ever met, probably, and yet he doesn't have the instinct to pull her hair or tease the living daylights out of her. What is that about.

Ciel:
A useless little swotty rich boy. Quite snotty and quite dim, it seems. Also from a backdated time, but a bit more irritating about it. Good for teasing as well. Sorry, kid.

Alois:
An even more useless swotty rich boy. Jack is unexpectedly fond of him. Eurgh.

Ivy Mum:
Sirius used to flirt shamelessly with Ivy--after all, she is hot, there's no denying that--but somewhere along the line she became more like... well, a mum--not his mum, certainly, but a mum, the way that they're supposed to be. She's always willing to help and she looks out for him--which he half loves and half resents. It's at least nice to know that he has a really great ally. He cares for her a great deal, and he's fond of just going round to see her.

Plus, she made him a Christmas tree that doesn't die. What could be cooler than that!

Maya Fey:
A girl from Edgeworth's world. She's a little too cheerful (Merlin, it's like she's been struck with a permanent cheering charm), but she is rather sweet in her way. A little gullible, and so a little fun to tease, but not in a mean way. Makes really good bacon sandwiches that she will bring all the way to prison. Thoughtful, anyway, if a little... ditzy? Dim? There's a word for what she is, but mostly Sirius treats her with amusement.

Ahiru :
A kid who is easy to tease. Really easy to tease, actually. She seems to have some sort of height complex--calling her titchy gets quite the rise out of her!--and she's easy to exploit for fun. Jack likes her all right, though, so he won't let things get too out of control--if only for Jack's sake. And he's becoming rather fond of her himself, despite everything.

Sherlock Holmes:
Some bastard. Fancies himself clever. Fun to irritate. Has had dealings with Jack in the David-going-missing incident, so Sirius will be sure not to overtease--just in case he should ever prove useful.

Robin:
A bird. No, really. Very taciturn, only uses text. Jack likes her well enough, though, so that's a good start to the relationship straightaway. Interested in magic. Good with technology. Otherwise... he doesn't know much else about her.

Raven:
This bird is a bit snarky, but she blushes too easily to be anything less than amusing. Sirius took her out on a date--more to say that he had than out of any actual fondness. Though she is a bit cute, for all that.

Dr. Byron Orpheus:
A "Necromancer". Snape's boyfriend slash nemesis. Good to use in jokes.

Daedalus Yumeno:
A Muggle Doctor Type. Doesn't like certain jokes, mostly those not taking medical stuff seriously. In fact, is Mostly Serious. Does Not Know Fun. Seemed to take a slight interest in Remus' Furry Little Problem, so possibly worth watching. Useful for stitching (?! stitches, what is wrong with these doctors) rotty arms. Makes entirely too many jokes about brain surgery (?!? what the hell who would muck about with brains; disgusting!) Obsessed with Re-l. Really more than a bit creepy, in regard to that.

Raul Creed:
Extremely serious. Also can't take a joke--useless, the lot of these blokes. Also more than a bit of a bastard.

Yaha:
There is no one person in all of Siren's Port that Sirius hates more than Yaha--with the exception of Snape, of course. But this is an entirely different hatred. Not only is he a sick mad bastard, but he's a persuasive sick mad bastard, aided by his ability (something like hypnotism and the Imperious Curse all in one), so he's able to get out of things. And not only is he a persuasive sick mad bastard, but he's a persuasive sick mad bastard who has threatened friends (Edgeworth comes immediately to mind) and generally cocked up their lives (the 'attempted murder' shit is a textbook example). Nothing would please Sirius more than to kill this bastard, but Edgeworth doesn't want him dead.

In recent months, Yaha has mess with Jack a bit too much for Sirius' liking, and he fully intends to do something about it. He just doesn't know what that "something" is.

Kadaj and Yazoo:
Never actually met with them; spoke with one of them only once. People worth watching. Roughed up Edgeworth. Seem like a pair of wankers.

Black Mask:
Hooooooly shit a skeleton man. He and Jack don't get on well, so that's worth keeping an eye on.

But seriously, moreover: holy shit a skeleton man.

RepRiku/Joe Feldman/"Rotty Joe"/RJ:
Little Rotty Joe. They first talked as a result of young Joe's indignation over the Newcomer Film Festival and all the drama therein. Volunteered to be a master saboteur and Do Things Right, but was a bit leery when Joe started giving their effort very dramatic names. Can't even remember why he's called Rotty Joe any longer, but it's stuck as a nickname. Sort of reminds of an ickle first year. Sort of fond of him, in a oh-you-idiot-kid way. And then, Joe made sodding EGGNOG ICE CREAM and his status was immediately updated.

Godot:
Surprisingly decent and amusing, for an attorney. He's hinted at coming from a past of some delinquency, and he certainly can take a joke--although he is suspiciously fond of coffee. Sirius likes him rather more than he feels he ought to, and he certainly owes Godot for helping in the plot to spring Sirius and Jack from slavery.

Franziska von Karma:
Edgeworth's older sister (little sister?). Really good for teasing and talking with. Can give nearly--nearly--as good as she gets. Somewhat of a challenge in that respect. Does a great deal of hitting people, especially innocent charming people whose names rhyme with Smerious Schmlack and never did a thing to her except take her out for a charming dinner on the town thank you very much. Can be an enormous bitch at times, but she's better liked than he would ever admit to, under pain of death or torture or any of it. And she did try to be helpful after the Remus crisis which... don't know what to do with that so. Er.

As time has progressed, Sirius has found himself to be--unfortunately--quite fond of Franziska. And completely unsure of what to do with these feelings. And completely unsure of how to express them--so usually, they end up fighting and arguing, and yet he still keeps talking to her.

She's insistent on defining their relationship, which really makes him feel uncertain about the future of things--because nothing kills a relationship faster than concrete definitions. But it's nearly impossible to separate from her. Unfortunately. Or fortunately. Whatever.

Jack Kelly:
Practically Definitely Sirius' favorite new friend ever. Could have been a Marauder in another time, although then the precarious sanity-to-madness ratio might have been thrown off. And furthermore, even if he wasn't just good to bullshit with--he also is a brave sort, a real mate, and a real help during the Moony crisis--as well as afterward. Has been invited to move in, after a small deliberation over whether that was moving too fast and then a subsequent deliberation over whether or not that was a completely girlish thought. And he likes flying motorbikes and punching people and does quite well taking the piss. In that grand old Replacements tradition, Jack would be closest to a James. There's a bit more responsibility in him that Sirius has only just picked up on, but he's no less brilliant a mate for all that.

Sirius trusts Jack beyond all else in Siren's Port. Jack is his best mate, the person he's closest to, the person he would trust with anything at all. He would do anything for Jack at this point--and though there was a great lingering awkwardness after the Mistletoe Mishap of 2010 (?!?!), Sirius found that he hated the separation between them, and was more than happy when things began to return to normal.

And as time goes on, Sirius only grows more and more fond of Jack. He can't even imagine life without Jack at this point, and he would do absolutely anything for him.

Re-l Mayer:
Sirius was originally quite chilly with Miss Re-l Mayer--she was a police officer, and tried to help in their useless way. But as it turns out, she is far more effective than all that, and actually rather helpful--a good ally, for starters. As Sirius has gotten to know her, he's gotten to like her more. She's not someone who it's easy to hit on or tease, but she can hold her own when it comes to drinking, at least--and there's something fun about making her laugh, which sounds soppy and sentimental, but is no less true.

Did I forget you? Probably; sorry! Curious? Let me know!
