Considering becoming a hermit
WHYYYYY the bloody hell is kp on the front page of LJ this week? HONESTLY. She is horrible and inescapable in ALL WAYS.
Tour wrapped up, home again, and honestly I couldn't be more pleased about it. Top ten (in no order) best things about being home:
1. Going to sleep, waking up in the same place all day everyday.
2. Sprawling on the couch smoking/listening to the new Rolling Stones bootleg Joe downloaded for us. (Heatbreaker, Angie, Sympathy, Can't Always Get.., Wild Horses and *_* Gimme Shelter in ONE SET? Why didn't we live in LA in the 70's?!)
3. Planning for our visit to Oz. (And securing GF of the year status with some Cats tickets. JC!)
4. Today's liquid lunch with my platonic life wife, who didn't pickle-bomb me even ONCE.
5. Joe gearing up for footie season. :D *Everybody* wins.
6. Things we ate yesterday: homemade cheese bread, curry take away, nearly an entire bag of peanut m&ms
7. No sound checks, bus deadlines, enforced KP duets, press bullshit, neck jabs, or Seb's 'Do It Now' face.
8. Catching up with Pip and Lin last weekend; hopefully the rest of you foolios this week upcoming.
9. I haven't heard the FIFA Soccer vid game theme in a full 72 hours. HALLELUJAH
10. Waking up this morning: Joe, Wigs, Little Bit and me all cozy in the same bed. Oh god I'm so happy I could burst. <3
We've got a bit of a break going for the band right now. We're doing once-a-week rehearsals at our Soundry spot until we ship back out again. We're in talks to add a few more dates in the UK towards the end of our scheduled tour, which...yeah maybe won't be bad if we can get some festivals with big press.
We're filming Jonathan Ross' show on the 18th as well (!!!!!) So we want to be on bloody top form for that, rest assured. Set your Sky+'s, bitches! And give us a ring, we're slowly coming out of our temporary hibernation.
