I am so sick of looking at Del's face and my computer screen and small coloured soundwaves I could scream.
However! Our first single is DONE. Put a fork in it. We all went out last night to celebrate (and the not-as-cute-as-I'd-have-hoped lad at The Mission recognized me! *twirl*) and caused quite a scene, as we are won't to do.
We've sent it out to this company who makes DropCards for music. New wave cause CD's are dead, you take the card, and it has a scratch off number on the back and instead of winning millions of pounds, you get a code to go online and download our song. Pretty nifty, yeah? We didn't know what to use for album art, so we just found an old shot of us on stage and are going to use that for now, since we only ordered 100. If anyone who wants (a free) one, let me know! They should be in sometime next week!
We got together and went over everything today after work, we have a pretty hectic schedule the next few weeks, we're trying to really get some support behind us while the feeling is mutual with our fans. Fans. This is all a very strange concept, but we've got a handful (aside from you lovelies who support us) of people who we're starting to see at multiple gigs a week, and I have to say, hearing people in the crowd know the chorus to one of your songs enough to sing it back is feels so good you can't imagine.
