nobody is there for you
nobody cares
nobody is out there
we're all just an assortment of selves
living for our selves
doign for ourselves
and dieing for ourselves
and when a self gets it in thier head to try to to be different
to try to stop beign a self living for itsself
it realizes that there is nobody else
is anybody out there?
that honest answer is no
but nobody wants honesty
they want to be sheltered, and coddled
so that's what we do
to avoid any genuine interaction, or true emotional bonding
we just placate people
and sometimes that's enough
but that only lasts so long
the fact is, it doesnt take much to put a self out there
to try to help somebody
but we dont want to waste the time
or risk the attachment
but we want soembody to be there for us
so here i am
a self
just like the rest of you
pretending to be a person
so that the world wont figure out
how absolutely rotten i am
a self
nieve to the fact that the person reading this post,
or sitting in the car next to mine
is just as rotten as i am
( yeah. this is a cry for help. you can think its pathetic, but none of you would bother to act on it. i had people i trusted. but now i keep the truth to myself, and let out veiled screams for compassion from a society that preaches the virtues of it, but saves none of it for people that need it. )
