Brief (around 300 words) personality outline of your character: Martha is many things, but above all she’s strong. Her willpower and drive to succeed when all seems lost is her most triumphant feature. Whether trapped on the moon or the only member of a resistance, her perseverance is unmatched save for perhaps the Doctor himself. She’s level-headed even in the worst times, preferring to think things through rather than freak out and lose control. Even if control is being lost, she’ll stick through with it keeping hope above all. It helps that to her, whether when being a doctor or with the Doctor, she has no illusions that anything can go wrong in a second, and that level of awareness helps her when all hell breaks loose. That doesn’t mean she is a perfect will-machine, and fear is never far when things start to break down, but she channels it and lets it pass as she is working.
Martha may be able to put up with a lot, but not without putting in a few words edge-wise. Well, more then a few words. She’s a feisty thing, and if someone is doing something she doesn’t like she will let them know. Especially if they’re her close friends or family, the more she knows someone the more she’ll chew them out. But she’s always loyal to them to the end, even if she has to put herself through danger or hell to keep them safe and happy. She gives 110% of herself all the time, not holding back for what other people may think. She knows that she likes herself, and whether or not others do is their business.
Martha isn’t often sad, but when she is it is because of things she knows she cannot fix or will be near to impossible. She’s hardened herself to things like death, becoming a doctor changes that, but it still hurts her to see. She’s incredibly compassionate and deeply cares for people she’s only just met because every human life is interesting and special.

It was big. Mind-bogglingly big. Maybe even bigger than the TARDIS, at least it felt that way. She had been directed to the Med Bay after getting her bearings. Well, as much as one could get their bearings from finding their world had been destroyed and she had been taken captive into safety. At least that was how it felt. But a doctor was always needed, and keeping herself busy seemed like the best option.
“Right, uh, anyone here? Anyone at all?”
Her voice echoed through the cavernous room, solidifying the fact that she was currently alone. She frowned but continued forward, if no one else would help her she would just help herself. She wandered over to the nearest bed, examining the alien tools around it.
“… You probably don’t have a manual, do you? No, that would be simple. Well, everyone has to start with trial somewhere.”
She picked up the nearest device and began examining it. She was going to be a pro here, a sudden determination filled her. She couldn’t save her world, but she could do something now that mattered.
