I think I am going to buy a ticket to Portland, ME in a few weeks for October. I've never TRULY seen fall before. Well, and from what I can tell it's just ridiculously beautiful. My friend Nicole lives there, we haven't seen each other since we were 12, but we have kept in close touch over the past eight years. I am incredibly excited. I've never been so far north. The downtown Portland area looks to be amazing, hopefully it will prove as much what with the ocean nearby, lighthouses, art district, the history there.
I bought Kurt Vonnegut and David Sedaris novels today on clearance, $3/each! It made me quite happy. I'm currently reading House of Leaves. Only about 30 pages in, I guess I'm still waiting for it to get 'good.'
