my boss gave away his extra coffee sacks before winter break. apparently Pandora finds burlap comfortable
my boss was thinking about switching bean companies. eventually we came full circle back to the company we'd had in Fall. so he, Deante, and i took a trip to Barefoot Bar in Santa Clara to cup new drips. the new hire, Valerie, was unable to come.

once again my cat spearheads the start of the month with her silly antics. here she is sleeping in my closet

i was amused when Brandon and i went out for coffee at his favourite community cafe. i asked for a soy cafe au lait but apparently the kid baristas didn't know what i was talking about. i got a soy latte instead
watched some YouTube tutorials and finally taught myself to French braid my hair. pictured is my second attempt evar

i played an April Fool's joke on my boss...filled one of the daily-delivered pastry boxes with broccoli
later Deante cooked us up some delicious broccoli in a milk pitcher with the steam wand
he also brought me a vegan zucchini muffin from Whole Foods for me when i told him i'd never had zucchini bread! how sweet
my coworkers and i cause all kinds of trouble
