Hooray for video games

I took a red eye from seattle to Boston. When I arrived home at 8 am last saturday, I had barely gotten any sleep. Consequently, I went took a much needed nap. I awoke that afternoon around 1. A few roomates were already back in town, but they didn't appear to be in the house. Thanks to John, my xbox was back in working order. I turned it on and flipped through the games and that damned little lambda was staring me in the face. I had neglected my half-life roots. I sat down in a chair, popped a diet coke and began playing. The next morning at 8 am, I had to sleep. I had only eaten a few pieces of beef jerky and drank a 12-pack of coke. I woke at 3pm that same day and began playing again. Finally I beat the game at 5 am, again with hardly any food. I had blood drawn at 8am that morning for a research study that funds my diet coke habit, taught a class at 9:30, went to work at noon and went home at 6. I was exhausted. I only have one problem now...Half-life 2 has left me unsatisifed. The game was excellent, but it lacks conclusion. I can't wait for the next iteration of the half-life series. I must play more games. I started Deus Ex: Invisible War. It's okay, but not as fun as HL2. RECOMMEND!
