Undone by the weather
I'm trying to keep it together, but things keep unraveling at the seams. I'm racking up a lot of expenses this month and that's partially due to this goddamn unnaturally cold weather. I've had to buy a hat and pyjama bottoms to keep warm while I sleep at night, but that apparently hasn't done me much good because now I have chilblains on one toe and one finger so now it looks like I'll need to buy gloves and wool socks, or something. What am I supposed to do about it? Keep my windows shut until spring? That's about the best I can do since this city isn't built to withstand any kind of weather below 55 degrees.
On top of that, equipment of mine decides to keep crapping out so I've had to buy a new modem and a new scanner.
