Update time! Last few days have been pretty cool. My friend Jamie came down fron NH to visit for a few days while his mom was doing some stuff down here. It was pretty cool. My pool's not nearly ready yet to swim, (unless you find deadly chlorine levels attractive), so we went to see Dodgeball. That movie rocked my socks man! It was stupid as hell, but god damn I liked it. We liked it so much, we saw it twice, and laughed just as hard. Fuckin' Chuck Norris!
Aside from that, I've been trying to secure this internship thing I was given back in the beginning of March (after winning Mock Trial city champs), where I'd get to work at this huge ass law firm for a week, but I can't seem to get through to the guy. Its kind of annoying, especially because I really don't want to do it, but I'm basically being made to. The other 3 people who were given it are doing it, so it looks tacky for me not to. Plus, being an über loser, its not like I, you know, have better things to do.
Oh yeah, and I hate to say it, but I miss school. Not the classes, per se, but it gave me something to do. I'm bored out of my mind here, and I can't get a job or anything, because I'll be hopping in and out on college visits and stuff starting pretty soon, so I'm sitting around doing nothing in the meantime. There's only so much pool work I can do. I actually started reading a bit more lately, although I don't really know if Al Franken or Bill Clinton is really high literature, I like their respective books. So yeah, I miss getting up every morning and going to school, if just to see people. At least I have a West Coast tour to look forward to. Oh yeah, and speaking of the tour, its a good thing we decided not to play Lollapalooza, because they just cancelled the whole thing. So we would have cut a few days off the tail end of the tour for nothing. Ok, I'm out.
