I like this quote from the book The First Billion, by Christopher Reich:
"When the team departed twenty-two minutes and fifty-one seconds later, a total of eleven bugs and six wireless cameras had been planted throughout the house. Two hundred twelve photographs of the suspect's most confidential documents waited to be enlarged and scrutinized. Mr. John J. Gavallan, subject of federal warrant SJ-74A001, under investigation in connection with thirty-two counts of international fraud, larceny, and racketeering, could not crap without the FBI knowing exactly how much tissue he used to wipe his ass."
Hehe. I might have another quote to post soon.
Not a lot is new on the home front. I'm still looking for a job, though I think I'll look more seriously into a clerical position. Josh and I are doing well, except for my last two days of crankiness. We've been together for a little over six months :) Tasha's in the military now, which is a helluva surprise, but I wish her all the best. My parents say hi, by the way, Tasha :) Josh's birthday is coming up, so I have to get cranking on the cross stitch I'm doing for him. Kristina and I need to hang out soon, as do Stephanie and I. I'm thinking of asking about an adjustment to my Celexa, namely an adjustment upward in the dosage. My trichotillomania is lessening, and I'm proud of myself for it. It's just a habit, and one I can beat. Court is no more, and boy am I relieved. Whether I won or not, (not), I don't care, because it's all behind me now. Looks like I'm going to get my permit again soon, practice a bit, and try for my license.
To those on my LJ friends list: Even if I don't reply, I still read and enjoy your journals :)
