ПКМ-2 снимали в пяти разных местах: Los Angeles, St. Vincent, Dominica, Great Exuma, Great Bahama Island. Все, кроме Лос Анджелеса, - острова.

K: Amazing sets, peaceful. You stop and stare. It makes me speachless.
J (about the tree house): I wanna build it somewhere and live in it.
Съемки DMC заняли 2/3 года, над проектом работали тысячи людей. Чтобы доставить воду на один день съемок требовался целый контейнер.

Chad Oman: Undeveloped place of the Caribbeans, man paradise but it's completely undeveloped.
Tom Hayslip: We had to build roads to every place we move.
Место для деревни каннибалов было найдено с воздуха. В места, где велись съемки, приходилось самим строить дороги, потому что остров совершенно заброшенный.
Ti Tou George
Mr. Gibbs (о шарообразных клетках): Pretty way to get to the office, ha?
(голос за кадром): Ti Tou George is just a beautiful waterfall but there's one way to it - inside by water.

K: Great Exuma I think is my favourite. It's the most peaceful island.
Eric McLeod: We were shouting on the island which is half underwater half the day.
Снимать приходилось между приливами, потому что во время приливов остров наполовину покрыт водой.
Съемки на Great Bahama Island
На Багамах было много съемок с кораблями, поэтому там соорудили целую искусственную бухту.
