Hi. I'm still alive.
Hello World.
Guess what, I'm still alive. Business school despite what I originally thought has not killed me, although I may or may not fail a class. We'll see next week. But, its not at all what I had thought it was going to be going in. Not necessarily a bad thing, just different.
For example, I didn't realize how focused they are on career development. I have a 100% chance of getting a job after I graduate. They make sure of that. And, I'll probably end up making more than my dad when I graduate. Thats kinda cool. Just the resources available to me are awesome. Its the "Michigan difference"
Only thing I hate is the people. I never thought there could be people more suck uppy, deuchebaggy, and utterly self obsessed people in the world than are sitting in my class. The people that raise their hand every 5 minutes to add some aside about what they know about the world of business to impress professors is obnoxious. And ps, it doesn't impress people. It annoys them.
Ya. Thats what I hate. I refuse to be what Dana referrs to as a Bschool twat.
In other news. I signed my lease for my house next year. I'm living with 3 other glee clubbers and two other people that my best friend Sean is friends with high school from. I'm so excited. I need to get off campus and cook and not be surrounded by freshmen and RA's monitoring me, and dorm food. Gross. I am so sick of eating carbs right now - I want some prime rib and steak:)
Glee club is good. Thats all I guess. Amanda made the comment to me when she was here last that I'm popular. I don't know when that happened, but hey, I guess I'm popular. Woo.
I'm really excited for Christmas break.
