best weekend ever
This was by far the best overall weekend I have had in a long time.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows came out on Friday night. I dressed up. It was sweet. I got my wristband at 5:00, so I was like 88th in line out of probably between 1 and 2 thousand people at Barnes and Noble. I had my copy in my hands at 12:13. Lauren Ahle got interviewed by TV, I don't know if she ended up on tv. We (me, shan, lauren, and her friend brad) went back to her house to read. Stayed there reading till like 1:30. I went home and read till 4. I wanted to stay up and read, but I had more fun to have this weekend.
Got up at 8 (yes, 4 hours of sleep) to teach karate and then drive with the CIP crew to the Jimmy Buffett concert. Got there at 3 and began drinking beer and margaritas before the concert. I also continued reading Harry Potter. Yes, I am obsessed.
Went to concert. Amazing. Better than the past two times I had seen him. Even if you hate his music, I highly recommend that everyone try to see him at least once in your life. He is a cult icon, everyone there knows all the words and consequently, his concerts are so high energy.
Slept in car.
Slept in bed.
Got up and went with Dad to the CIP two year anniversary campout. Hung out with all of my coworkers who I love. I ended up finishing HP7 here. It was fricken amazing. Only 2 things were left unanswered in my opinion. Call me cuz would love to discuss the book with people. When my dad left the campout I began drinking heavily as did everyone else. We partied around the campfire till like 3.
Sun woke us up at 7. eew.
Today, took naps and began rereading HP7. After this I have no idea what I'm going to read next. I think maybe something in spanish.... I'm not taking Spanish this semester because of business school classes. Kind of sad actually especially being that I'm going to Spain on tour next May and hopefully studying abroad.
Tomorrow. Back to work. Boo. But, I need to make another 800 dollars at least this summer.
