Stupid Snow....

So this break has been a lot of fun. Good times hanging out with most of my TP10 crew that I haven't seen in awhile. Last night we had a little gathering, that was probably a little too much fun. Then today i slept all day and just relaxed. This afternoon it started snowing... and it has been snowing ever since. It was fun watching the snow at first... it was all white and winter looking. It was nice seeing evidence of the winter season for once. Yeah, but then I had to drive in it. And driving in snow isn't too much fun. I pulled out onto the highway from my house and slid almost into a 180 because of all the ice on the road. Then I drove 30 on a road that I usually drive 70 on. I had to be really careful. I made it almost all the way to where I was going when suddenly I notice that the nice two lane road (which is all white and covered in snow, so you couldn't see the lines) is suddenly turning into a one lane road. So I look in my mirror and there is a car in the other lane right next to me... I slow down and ICE.... so I am sliding a bit then I am trying to get over when BUMP we hit something off to the side of the road. It makes an unpleasant sound, but the car seems fine and we continue on our way to my friend Sally's new apartment. We hang out for a bit, and we leave to go meet some friends for some cosmic bowling. But we get back on the road and the car sounds a bit funny. It isn't shaking or anything, it just sounds like something is bumping on the road. So we pull over and the right front tire is flat. We call AAA to come help us change it. After calling AAA we realize that both of the tires on the right side are flat, and we have only one spare. So we had to leave my mom's car on the side of the road until we can find a place that has the tires that we need. AWESOME.... Stupid snow. Luckily the night wasn't a total loss, and my awesome friends came and picked me up and we went to Perkins where we had a late night breakfast and our waitress thought that we had the munchies because of all the odd food we ordered. I got onion rings, french toast and pancakes. I don't know what I was thinking but it all just sounded good at the time. And I was sharing with everyone else, not eating it all by myself. So yeah she thought we were a bit out of it... but that made it all the more fun. Then my friends drove me back home in the crazy dark, snowy and icy night. We had a few slides, but the ride went pretty well. Now I am getting ready for some sleep... hope that everyone else had an awesome break. PEACE
