this is your life, are you who you want to be?

So the last few days have been interesting to say the least. I have had some good days, and some bad days. Enough about that, it will all work out in time. So since I last updated I finished all of the papers that I had due. Yes, I had a paper due in every single one of my classes in the same week, I just love how my professors plan so carefully so that this ends up happening all the time. So out of curiosity, I pasted all of my papers that I had due into one single word document and it was 27 pages long. That is 7,540 words. And 43,361 times that my fingers hit the keys on my keyboard. So yeah that was A LOT of work, and I am really glad that it is finally over. Now to celebrate this weekend I am studying for the two mid-terms that I have coming up this week. Oh man I am so excited. But the rain has finally went away and the days are their usual sunny and warm SoCal days... Yesterday was the groundbreaking for our North Campus Athletics Complex and that was a lot of fun to go to. Then last night I went to the Choir concert in the Chapel and then out to BJs for a night time snack. Today I went and watched CLU play its last home game on the current soccer field, as by this time next year they will have a brand new soccer stadium, and the current site will be changing into our aquatics complex. So yeah just hanging out on another boring saturday afternoon, hopefully something fun will come my way tonight. PEACE.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

One night I dreamed I was walking
Along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints.
Other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered me because I noticed that
During the low periods of my life when I was
Suffering from anguish, sorrow, or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints,
So I said to the Lord, "You promised me,
Lord, that if I followed You,
You would walk with me always.
But I noticed that during the most trying periods
Of my life there have only been
One set of prints in the sand.
Why, When I have needed You most,
You have not been there for me?"
The Lord replied,
"The times when you have seen only one set of footprints
Is when I carried you."
