The sore-throat, achy-head, really-tired Medicine
I normally would not be up this early, I usually get up around 9:30 for church. But so far I've been up for 1 hour and 9 minutes, thanks to my either viral or bacterial infection. I don't know why I'm sick, it happens so rarely, I take multi-vitimins, exercise regularly, eat right....this shouldn't happen. Then again, that's only in an ideal world.
I went to "Academy Day" sponsored by Sen. Vitter yesterday. I picked up a whole bunch of information about the 3 main academies (sorry, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine just don't cut it in my book). I have since decided that I want to go to the Naval Academy in Anapolis. Their engineering program has always been in the top 5 of the nation, it's harder to get into, the location looks cool, and their uniforms look better than Air Force. Oh, and great news about applying to any of the academies - they take your top ACT score in each subject, not just the top composite score. That means that nobody can take my 35 in reading away from me!
In other news, I started using Mozilla's Firefox. Tabs...it just seems so obvious now
