I'm still never gonna be in a focus group

I think this book really needs a photo and description. I mean, there has to be solid gold involved somehow, doesn't there?

Well, the description does say it's a perfect paperback! It must be a lot more perfect than I'd settle for.

Maybe someone who'd buy the $40,000 suits I saw on the news last night would be interested.

What boggles me the most is that it's a print-on-demand paperback of an out-of-copyright text freely available in multiple places on the web.

I'm expecting calligraphy, illumination and hand-drawn illustrations on parchment with gilt-rdges.

heh heh heh : For THAT price, I'd want my hand-drawn illustrations signed and numbered too!

To make matters worse, this is probably the only H.G. Wells book I've never read.
Thanks for pointing this out. I thought I'd read them all in my youth..

Perhaps is't the paperback, the all mother of all paperbacks paperback, or something.

I'm not sure where I first encountered it, but I've always known they would never want me in one!

This was a little different from most of my 'focus group' posts in that it doesn't directly mock an actual ad campaign. (If you want to see them, check out the focus group tag).
