so tom and i spent all of yesterday rearranging and cleaning and scrubbing and throwing away and bagging up for goodwill and hiding and storing. we didn't finish, there are still big bags laying about that need to be taken to various places, but all in all the skeleton of the apartment is finalized.
and what's extra amazing is i didn't buy a splinter of all that furniture. sure it doesn't match and it's old and threadbare, but it was all either given to me or found next to dumpsters, with the exception of my mattress pad. oh that delicious memory foam mattress pad...
