i live in Northampton Massachusetts. This is Northampton.

austin texas: birth (karen drive), high school (rain forest drive, south mo pac apartments x2)
banaras, UP, india: a very eventful january 2004 (sarnath, CIHTS)
fayetteville, arkansas: 6th and 8th grades (apartment next to field of hay and hotel, house behind football stadium)
huntsville, alabama: kindergarten through 5th (monte sano apartments where i played in the forest with michelle; yellow house on giles, occasional corn in the back yard; white house on polk with steep backyard and real-feeling daydreams)
san antonio, texas (summers growing up on vaughan place eating bluebell, making radio shows, listening to the beatles and summer storms)
devine, texas (somewhere around here is the Ranch, mesquite, poppies, bluebonnets, slimy-nosed summer cows)
graham, texas (trailer that i was too young to remember)
laredo, texas (will was born here...hey will, i should call you Laredo from now on.)
also fredericksburg virginia with the cul-du-sac of agressive minivans where i loved to walk in circles and draw circles;
new britain connecticut with the house with holes in the walls and a monster in the basement;
jacksonville north carolina with dad and the atlantic ocean and spunky the dog;
rochester new york, xerox apartments that i never realized felt like home til everyone's leaving;
ramsey new jersey, home because mom's there.
