do you ever think we all talk mindlessly just in some attempt at connection. and that its frighteningly easy to go really long without meaningful connections? i think i do. and i think it scares me a little.

then my roommate plays me this recording
of a bunch of people in a room talking
except this harvard professer
made it into beautiful music

it was crazy
drove me crazy
i am now crazy

but i understand
searching for that connection
that little comment
that could turn into
a big conversation

in this age
were too stupid
to realize
what a catalyst is
