SONGSTRESS

Okay, in canon there are ~songstresses~ all around the Kingdom. And there is this whole mythological thing about how they sing every night and this somehow protects/bolsters the Kingdom - and a lot of warbling about the Songstress:King companionship and counterpart. And yet canon never actually decides to tell us what this is! We do know individual songstresses don't have a lot of power by themselves, that songstresses can tell if someone else is a songstress as well just from quality of voice, that they themselves have amazing voices and very sharp ears ( being able to hear a song all the way in a different village/town for example ).

In camp? Feel free to do whatever you want with that. Normal people can't tell the Specialness of a songstress's voice, but not-normal people might be able to. Normal people can tell that songstresses have really pretty voices, though. IDK I like having fun with this sort of thing, if you feel like it /o/~

And, as an addition to this: IS THERE ANYTHING SPECIAL/UNIQUE/IMPORTANT about your character's voice that someone with superspecial musically inclined keen hearing might pick up?

ALSO I GUESS Cain's singing is supposed to somehow make an area safer or protect it or SOMETHING. Canon is really vague as to if this is real or a superstition or whatever. But feel free to . . . feel. Something. d>:
