DARPA owns my soul
So I visited Eric Lai yesterday; Matt Jiang was over at his house, and Michelle Lee and Alicia Fernandez showed up later. I hadn't seen some of those people since graduation. Good times.
Unfortunately, I didn't get to hang out in Torrance any longer because I had to come back to Pasadena for more DARPA stuff...suddenly volunteering to do DARPA work over my winter break doesn't seem like such a good idea anymore. Oh well, too late now. We were supposed to be leaving tomorrow morning to go to the desert for a field test, but our equipment isn't ready yet, and the test site we were supposed to be going to is inaccessible due to the crazy rain we've gotten here the past two days. We're planning on getting our stuff up to speed tomorrow, choosing an alternate test site, and leaving Thursday morning instead. We'll have to see how that goes...
