Mid-Year's Resolution...

I've had my 80 gig iPod for about 6 months now, and I've spent a good portion of that time using the shuffle feature. It's retarded. It likes to play Billy Joel as every third song. Granted, I have a *lot* of Billy Joel, but still: It was making me annoyed with him, and that shouldn't happen. Additionally, the shuffle seems to constantly avoid ( Read more... )

I completely agree on listening to whole albums, it was only until recently that I would listen only to entire albums unless the radio was on. This also points out the artists that can only muster one or two singles and fill the rest of the album with crap.

Side note, with New Year's less than 3 months away this seems more like resolution pre-gaming :P

Ha ha, pre-gaming is important. I'm with ya on weeding out the bad artists with complete albums. Sadly, I've got a long way to go to get all of my library up to speed. What music player do you use, btw?

I'm the same way with albums. DOn't change your plans comes to mind, as does Coldplay's Spies. I'll make sure to check out Picaresque a bit down the road, but I'm taking some time to appreciate The Crane Wife. It really has some good driving tracks, although The Kooks are AMAZING for back roads on sunn days.
