Valentine's Day
So I was talking to Jason about how much I hate Valentine's Day and how this year especially I am going to pretend it doesn't exist. I further explained that the reason I am so anti-Valentines is because I am dating two people with primaries, so I am nearly guaranteed to be alone on the day of the 14th. He suggested we throw a party together on the Friday prior to Valentines Day, but (perhaps the correct usage) ironically I'll be "single" at that party, too. Paul may be able to come along, but he has a show to go to that night with Lindsay, plus he's not super into electronic music.
Then both Paul and Jason suggested that we do a swap or something, have Paul be my date at Jason's party and then have Jason be my date at Paul's party. But since Paul's at a concert Friday night, that won't work, and since Jason works on Saturday nights (when Paul is having his party) that doesn't work either.
Road to hell and good intentions and such. I'm just going to be alone that weekend. Pretty much. Whatever. I fucking hate Valentine's Day. I'll fit in perfectly with the emo theme of Jason's party.
Plus I'm working on the night of the 14th. Just like I think I am going to schedule myself to work every Saturday cause that's the night I always end up alone.
