I pretty much had the most amazing day ever yesterday. Jocelyn went with me to the Deptford mall because I had to pick up some birthday presents. WELL, while we were walking through the food court, this guy was like, "Hey ladies!" and we ignored him because one, we were stoned, and two, we thought he was trying to hit on us. He ran after us and apologized because it might have seemed like he was a creep or something and then said that they(him and the people he was sitting with) were opening a skate store downstairs in the mall (something starting with a Z-- they had a skateboard with the logo and name on it, and some stickers, but the name is slipping my mind haha) and were looking for people to work for them. Apparently we were the image they were looking for because he had us fill out applications, and gave us an interview date for sunday right there. If they didn't want us to actually work after talking to us, I don't think they would have given us a date like that. I said I had never had a job because I was kind of "scared" to get one and he said that was a good thing because I hadn't developed any bad work habits yet. I wasn't really looking for a job or wanting one yet, but it was pretty much placed in my lap.
I'm fucking stoked.
Oh and baby sort of made my neck look like I was mauled by a ferocious animal. Not that I mind or anything.
He said that after he starts working at Firestone, he wants to start putting away $100 from each paycheck to go towards a vacation for me and him to go on. Like, an overseas vacation. :)
