So I was cruising the internet looking for inspiration for DragonCon 2009 and I saw a beautiful harlequin kimono that I fell instantly and deeply in love with. The person making them sells them for $325.
I don't have that kind of money to spare, obviously.
So I went to Jo-Ann's armed with two 50% coupons for their big sale this weekend and spent about $60 on fabric. And thanks to Evan being wonderful enough to give me yesterday off, I have the start of a beautiful kimono hanging on my dress form,
I am so glad I know how to sew.
