SOooo, after going 3 months camera-less, I thought it was about time I finally bought one (there goes a good tenth of my November paycheque, happily spent)! Went into Nagoya yesterday, watched Brad's Australian football game (which is one bizarre sport initially, but then you realize it's not all that different from the general rules of most feet-meet-ball sports), and then met up with
deadtree afterwards. :) She took me to Kamimaezu for cameras, and I bought
this one. It's pretty spiffy!!!
Then we had dinner with a friend of hers at the Old Spaghetti Factory (astounding that that particular chain made its way over here). Poor guy was put to trial with our vk ramblings.
So what's the first thing I'm doing with that camera? Posting a backlog of art. :) They're mostly pretty quick sketches since I've been pretty busy since I got here. And I'm lazy, so I only made one preview, heh.

note: the title comes from seeing these birds in the river every morning.
I'm not sure what they are. They might be 鷺 (sagi), and they don't look
exactly like this picture (I took artistic liberty).

note: I had Bellatrix Lestrange in mind as I drew this.
Not elegant Bella of course, but crazy Bella at the time of her Azkaban escape.
