snowstorm

The first snowstorm to hit southern Ontario this year (though not the first snowfall, obviously). It wasn't all that windy or cold, though, so this morning I put on my winter boots for the first time in pretty much three years and made the 30-minute walk to school. The Rideau Canal looks about frozen-- I can't believe it froze so fast, too... the water must be shallower than I thought. I had to keep dusting myself off because I collected so much snow while I walked.
