Neither disease nor death can ever overcome the power of LOVE...

Josh Groban fever for me is no more...hahaha. Pasensiya na sa mga Grobanites out there. It's just that everyone grows up and move on. He's good and no one can really compare to his voice and talent as of this moment. Isa siyang panginoon kung baga. However, two other great talents have recently come to my attention. Yup! Since becoming addicted to Yahoo Launch like Carmela, I've seen lots of videos but there were two that stood out:BEN JELEN and ALEX UBAGO. Nakakafrustrate lang kasi Alex Ubago(a deadringer for Colin Farrell) is a Spaniard and I can't find any English translations for his albums. Pero they are both good. I may buy their album in 2 weeks time because I still have some bills to pay. But nevertheless, I still watch their videos and listen to their songs online. To listen free for Alex Ubago's songs, go to www.alexubago.com. Ben Jelen's video "Come On" is available on Yahoo Launch.

The Calling released their new album entitled "II"(pronounced as two, duh?)Tuesday. This time around there's only two of them ala Savage Garden since one of the members has transferred to Lifehouse and the other two had issues with the two original members:Alex Band and Aaron Kamin. The new one has a more positive vibe to it. Their trademark "kasawian" and depth with the music and the lyrics they had in their first album which fans like me grew to love has been replaced by an uplifting and encouraging sound. It's all sunny and happy as the album cover is. However, a lot of the songs seemed to have been "recycled" like how the chords they used in writing the songs in the first album have been used again. For example, the first track "One by One" has the familiar intro of "Adrienne". All in all, I believe that their first album is still better. None of their songs in the second album could lived up to the status that "Wherever You Will Go" achieved literally, figuratively, and musically. Their musical edge is not really evident that listening to their new album would make a fan wonder if it's still the same The Calling that we listened to. Alex Band's vocals may be the only evidence to convince doubting fans that they are really in fact listening to The Calling. Their first single "Our Lives" is the best of all the 11 tracks in their new album and it was strategic for them to release it the same time as all the schools around the country are having their graduation ceremonies especially high school.Wherever the second album brings them though, I hope that it's not gonna hurt them real bad.

No matter how hard I try to fit in, I will always be an outsider. It's hard to crack up something that has been together for years if not the entire lifetime. It just saddens me that after all that have been said and done, after all that everyone has been through, it's still them and not us.

I am moderately loosing my confidence speaking in English. I'm sorry if I don't pronounced the words right. I'm sorry for being grammatically incorrect orally. I'm sorry if I stutter. I'm sorry if I don't make any sense at all. I'm sorry if I'm not perfect like you.

I need an inspiration to write a letter right now. One of my friends in the Philippines has already sent me his letter to his "love" before just to serve as my guideline. But it's still hard to express everything. I can't dig in to my inner emotions to let it all out. I never imagined that it will be this hard. Perhaps it's because I'm still living with my idealistic point of view. I want everything to be perfect, to be special. If I would wait for the right time to come to think of the right words to say, it will never be done.
