kind of exciting, kind of terrifying
Holy shit. A week from now I'm going to be in class. IN CLASS! The only real thinking I've had to do in the past 6 months was my miserable attempt at sudoku, and paying attention to movie plots. I don't know if my brain will be able to handle it. I highly doubt it will handle meditating, as past experience has shown.
I went to the zoo yesterday with Mandy and Rose and it was spectacular! Sea turtles and sting rays and creepy fish! And a sloth! He wasn't even in a cage, he was just in a tree in the middle of the building! There was a baby sea lion that stayed mostly where we couldn't see it but it poked its head out of the water and was adorable! As were the orangutangs (sp?). The little baby one kept crawling underneath a bucket and running around. He was my favorite. I really want the polar bears to have a bigger exhibit because I feel so bad for the one that just does laps all day. But at least he's not in the arctic where there is too much water and he could drown.
Aaaand I'm living on Brannon 3rd! The stairs are going to frickin' kill me going up there all the time. But I will have a sink! Yes for brushing my teeth NOT in the bathroom!
