We're breeding to Caryn's broodmare and I'm getting a baby!!! I can't decide what stud I want though, but I'm thinking Whispering Whamunition or Tug Hill Celebrity. I love Bell Flaire but his fee has to be insane, and I'm not sure if he's public anymore. I would love to breed her in June so I could have a May baby and be there when its born, but I think we'll have to breed her earlier so her next foal will be a little older for the sweepstakes. I'm so excited!

Going to Nationals was amazing. I had so much fun! One of the first nights we were there, before the show started, we walked down through the barns and warm up rings and down the chute. Everyone talks about what its like going through that chute and seeing the ring open up in front of you. Just standing there, even though I wasn't showing, I had the same nervous excitement I feel everytime I am about to go in the ring. It was so great to finally see it in person, and really experience it rather than seeing pictures in the magazines.

The horses all had very good classes, but the judging was honestly pretty bad. Lucy definitely could have won her futurity class, but she didn't even place on any of the judges cards. there were people Bert didn't even know coming up and telling him that. Taz had a very good show though. He was pulled out into the top stallions with Mizrahi and Key Biscayne-it was unbelievable. He was fourth in that and his world saddle class, which was very good considering who he was up against. He tries so hard to keep up trotting with the big ones like Outrajus Corajus, but he's so much smaller and doesn't have quite the extension on him. I can't wait to see how he does next year after he gets another summer of training. He's incredible.

I think I'm going to go to the Cochran Sale in Kentucky, so Bert might pick me up next weekend so I can be at the barn for a few days and then go with them to the sale. Enchantress is going through and I'm curious to see how much she goes for.
