Пожалуй, лучшая аркадная леталка с охуенным саундтреком от Machinae Supremacy. В общем, фанаты знают.
Так вот, залажу я на форум и что я вижу?
JnG2 is under development right now. The development was delayed, but JnG2 is our main project now. (#)
Ну ладно, написано якобы не админом. А вот в следующей теме я натыкаюсь на такое:
We posted no information anywehere as we are only in the beginning of the process (yeah, we are in the beginning for a long time now...). For many reasons we decided to make the new JnG in 3D, so we spent the last several months learning, how it works. It's quite complicated I must say .
We have no realease date and we hesitate to announce any, because we are slow developers and we hate not to keep promises. 2012 is possible, but I wouldn't bet any larger sum on us .
Luckily the funding isn't problem right now. We don't need any support at the moment except the moral one. We got past the very basic technological phase, so finally we are able to show something of the process. In near future we want to start to regularly publish images, videos and other stuff for fanbase to build some attention to the game. As we don't have any funds for marketing, we will rely greatly on the fans to spread the word and make the project big and well known.
We don't ask for donations, but after an alpha version we may consider pre-orders for lowered price. But that would be money for something playable then. We'll see. We have no publisher now. We hope Steam might be interested once we will be able to show at least one fully working level of the game.
I can't offer much right now, but here we have some testing screens for a fog and lighting from the engine:

Ну, и как финальный штрих - я написал им письмо с вопросом, будет ли JnG в Steam, и когда ждать сиквела. Ответ пришел через 2 часа:
Hello,
We offered our game JNGG to Steam a few times, but they always rejected. They said, that the game
doesn't suit for their portfolio. (It means that if you have not friend in Valve, you have a minumum
chance to get games there. It's sad.)
But a good news is, that we work on the game sequel. It's in early stage, but I hope it will be released
the next year.
