[Background]Atoli is a PC (Player Character) from the famous online game - The World. She is a Harvest Cleric, a job class dedicated to healing artes. She is an Epitaph User as a host for the Second Phase Innis.
Her player’s name was Chigusa Kusaka, a depressed high school student who was bullied by her classmates and looked down by her parents who imposed their expectations on her (i.e. Be the traditional, quiet girl). She joined the game because of Sakaki, who helped her during her depression in a suicide website and befriended her. In the game, she joined Second Division of Moon Tree, a guild dedicated to peace in the World and filled with pacifists and idealists. There she served under Sakaki who was also the Second Division Captain. The guild becomes a sort of a place of solace for Atoli from her difficult reality.
In the streets of Mac Anu, the root town of the Delta server, she met PKK (Player Killer Killer) Haseo, who treated her with annoyance at her overly optimistic and naïve façade. After Haseo got data-drained by “Tri-Edge”, she soon started an awkward friendship with him, helping him out in his quest of finding Tri-Edge and competing in the Demon Palace tournament as Team Haseo’s healer. When they won, she is shocked and angry to hear about Shino from Ovan. Believing that Haseo befriended her because of Shino, she ran away - desperate to prove herself to Haseo. G.U. tracked her down to a mysterious white room where she was trying to open one of the out-of-place coin lockers. Then Azure Kite floated out of nowhere. Haseo, who at the time thought Azure Kite was Tri-Edge, kicked the crap of him. After Skeith data-drained Azure Kite, AIDA flew out of the coin locker and stole Atoli’s avatar, rendering her unconscious for a short while.
When she came back to, her arm was paralyzed and even worse, it began to deteriorate. In the real world, her arm was diagnosed with Doll Syndrome. When G.U. and she began searching for the AIDA that took her Avatar away, they were led to Holy Palace Emperor Sirius. During all of this, Alkaid, who is Team Haseo’s third member, and Haseo grew closer and jealous Atoli is jealous. D: She doesn’t participate in the Finals or the title match, however because the opponents were Infected (If you get killed by AIDA Infected player, you go into a coma in the real world.), Haseo demanded that Atoli set the battle out which she complied with some complaints. Long story short, Haseo won the tournament and Atoli got her Avatar back, curing her arm completely.
The trouble always starts when you’re not expecting it. After she was cured, Sakaki used her to take over Moon Tree base by infecting her with AIDA. Haseo and his gang intervened, of course, but when they reached where Sakaki and Atoli were, Haseo alone was faced with her dark memories of bullying, of parents, of school, and of feeling of being alienated; everything was told by her “Shadow” self. With some provoking words from Sakaki, Atoli went berserk, turning into Innis. Haseo turns into Skeith and they have an epic and emotional Avatar Battle. Haseo succeeded in data-draining in her and Atoli turns back to normal! Yay! After that, she have a little nervous breakdown about what she did to her gild and fellow gild members, and Haseo slapped, lectured, and then somehow comforted her. Well, in his own unique way. She tagged along when Haseo chased after Sakaki to ask him why he did what he did, whether or not the kind Sakaki she knew was fake, etc. Sakaki chewed her out though, quite badly might I add. So Haseo, Atoli, and Pi beat the crap out of him. Sakaki got away though and then Ovan appeared, revealing that he’s the actual Tri-Edge Haseo has been hunting down.
Then in the third game, Atoli gained control over her Avatar, and good for nothing Sakaki appeared again and he took over G.U. He held the Sage Palace tournament that Haseo had to fight in, and Atoli and Kuhn joined him. And another tournament won! No more Sakaki. C: Then the Epitaphs tracked down Ovan and Hase and Orange Glasses fought. Once Ovan was defeated, his Avatar Corbenik unleashed the Rebirth effect and the internet reset itself. This is where she starts off her dream
[Personality]Atoli is compassionate and caring. She is bubbly and idealistic as ever, but she less uptight and is willing to have more fun. In general, she is friendly and kind to strangers and without a doubt, to her friends. And after the Moon Tree incident, she stopped being a damsel in distress and shutting herself away from her problems, becoming more responsible. She is also less of pacifist than before, willing to fight if it is necessary as contrast to always looking for peaceful way of doing things.
As for her bad traits, Atoli can be bit of a jealous type when it concerns the person she likesHaseo. She is somewhat stubborn as well, but she isn’t inflexible. Also, she’s an airhead which might annoy people. Beware. However, she still seems to suffer from fear of rejection from others, though it’s gotten much better than before.
[Specialties/Abilities] She is a Harvest Cleric - meaning that she has the ability to heal and cure. She can use offensive magic spells, but they are limited. She also has Innis’s powers and controls it at will as its hostess. She wields her Lost Weapon: Flame Dancer.
[Affection] Really, she has her own love life problems. *Points to Haseo* But she isn't sure about his feelings towards her and she knows about Shino too so Atoli might take someone else's hand if they're nice enough. I don't know about yuri action though. Well, we'll see.
[Fighting] Because she's a healer, she is terrible at physical battles. If she had a melee fighter distracting the enemy so she can cast some powerful spells, that's another story. But she really isn't the type of girl to pick fights.
[Other Facts] She loves little animals; little birds are her favorites. Eh, she's a decent cook, too. When she first comes to Somarium, she is hella confused and scared so, uh, play nice kids.
